Mr. Yazbeck is a partner in the Portland law firm of Yazbeck, Cloran & Bowser,
PC.
Educational Background
Mr. Yazbeck was born in Louisiana and is a graduate of the Louisiana State
University (B.S., 1971). He received his law degree from Tulane University of
Louisiana and was admitted to the Texas State Bar in 1974, the Oregon Bar in
1977 and the Washington Bar in 2002. Mr. Yazbeck has also been admitted to the
U.S. District Court, Northern District of Texas in 1974; Oregon and U.S. District
Court, District of Oregon in 1980; U.S. Claims Court in 1984; and the U.S. Court
of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Articles and Activites
Mr. Yazbeck has authored "Oregon Construction Lien Law," Oregon Debtor-Creditor
Newsletter, Spring, 1985. In 2002 he co-authored the revisions to Construction
Law (Oregon CLE 2003) Chapter 11: Claims: State and Local Public Agency Contracts;
Private Contracts.
Professional Background
From 1974 to 1975, Mr. Yazbeck was Assistant District Counsel for the U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District. He was also Assistant District
Counsel for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the Portland District from 1975-1977.

Mr. Yazbeck is a member of the Multnomah County and American (Member, Public
Contract Law Section and Intellectual Property Section) Bar Associations; Oregon
State Bar; State Bar of Washington, State Bar of Texas. Mr. Yazbeck's main area
of practice are Construction Litigation, Public Contracts Law, Surety Law, and
Information Technology.
